ICC takes 2011 World Cup from Pakistan
DUBAI (AP): Cricket's world governing body has removed Pakistan as a co-host of the 2011 World Cup because of security fears. The decision comes after terrorists attacked the Sri Lankan team bus in Lahore and killed six police officers and a driver on March 3. The International Cricket Council Board announced on Friday that the uncertain security situation in the country had forced it to take the decision. Pakistan was due to co-host the event with India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh.
